Many worthwhile and interesting destinations can be easily reached in day trips from Hollersbach. For example, visit the Krimml Waterfalls, the National Park Worlds with the 360° panorama cinema, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, the reservoirs in Kaprun, the Hohenwerfen Adventure Castle with bird of prey shows, the Eisriesenwelt in Werfen, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, or the Mozart city of Salzburg. There are also gorges and ravines, wildlife parks, and much more to discover – we will be happy to give you tips for your holiday.
Many events round off the offer in Hollersbach. For example, the International Painters’ Weeks are held every year at the Kunsthalle Kramerstall. The studios in the Kramerstall are rented out to interested artists during the year.
Another highlight is the traditional Almabtrieb with farmers’ market and parade. Buy regional handicrafts and sample home-made delicacies such as farmer’s fritters, cheese, jam, schnapps, and much more.
